New Quit Vaping Service Offers Lifeline to Addicted Users As Disposable Vape Ban Begins
Finally, Some Shining Light to Help People Break Free from Vaping Addiction from New Web Platform ‘Vape Escape’ - With Revolutionary Quit Vaping App to Launch in June 2025

With over 1 million regular never-smoker vapers, and shockingly 230,000 children aged 11-17, our mission is urgent with the disposable vape ban having commenced - the device of choice in the majority of these demographics.
Founded by Dr Marc Picot, a GP, accredited Health Coach, and ex-vaper, Vape Escape (vapeescape.org.uk) began as a passion project following Dr Picot's own battle to overcome vaping addiction.
He recognised through his own experience, the distinct lack of resources available to vapers wanting to quit, and made it his mission to ensure this changed.
One year on, he is determined to drive it to become the leading global force against the growing epidemic of vaping addiction.
With evidence showing that people are already transitioning from disposables to refillables, and users at crossroads with a decision to be made, the early signals are that vaping addiction has taken its grip on many. That is unless current vapers wanting to quit, but not knowing where to turn, discover the services of the first-of-its kind provider Vape Escape.
Vape Escape is a new UK-based healthcare professional-led web platform combining:
- Up-to-date science-based content
- Digital downloads and engaging video courses, and an eBook authored by Dr Picot himself
- Expert 1:1 therapist support available via video-link
- An informative blog encompassing posts for schools, parents, and vapers
The Vape Escape App

In an expansion to the web platform, Vape Escape will launch its new mobile app in June 2025, providing support to vape users in the UK, as well as the USA, Canada, and Australia.
The most comprehensive app to hit the market yet, a product of deep market research to identify current user pain-points and barriers to treatment, it will include:
- Evidence-backed psychological tools
- Craving management and distraction techniques with video guided-content
- A personalised reduction plan or quit now option - the only app to offer this choice
- Motivational tracking tools and a personal diary
- Peer-to-peer community support groups
- Access to 1:1 expert therapists as per the web platform
No competitor app offers this amount of extensive support, and in the main they offer basic tracking measures with minimal supportive content crucial in overcoming addiction to the third known addictive substance after heroin and cocaine; nor are any created by a healthcare professional.
'Most quitting tools still treat vaping as if it’s just a version of smoking,' says Dr. Marc Picot, a GP and Founder of the platform. 'But with much higher nicotine concentrations, no clear ‘stop/start’ moments, and huge social pressures, quitting vapes is its own unique challenge. We built this app to help young people take back control.'
Please see a YouTube video presented by Dr Picot, explaining the problem, app design, and images showcasing some of the features as a peak inside:
With studies showing an intention to quit rate of 50-60% in children and young adult users, and help on the NHS scarce at best: urgent help is needed.
As per the Chief Medical Officer, Professor Chris Whitty, has stated; ‘If you don’t smoke, don’t vape.’ The response from Dr Picot, is quite simple; ‘Learn from my personal mistake – and as someone who has been in your position, allow me the chance to help you.’

Thanks so much for considering our press release and I look forward to hearing from you.
